Best to go for something light and refreshing.
Lillet is a new discovery of ours and a cocktail hour favorite ingredient. It is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle with the addition of citrus liqueurs including those made of Moroccan sweet orange peels and peels of bitter green oranges from Haiti.
Lillet also contains liqueur of Chinchona bark which contains quinine- so an additional benefit is that it can be used to treat malaria!
3 oz. Lillet Blanc
1 oz. Cointreau
Dash of Sweet vermouth
Shake and serve up or over crushed ice.
